# LifeArk vs Epikon

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Epikon at none against LifeArk's 5. Epikon also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 81%). LifeArk's advantage is ratings volume (47 vs 2) and update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LifeArk sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Epikon asks for nothing beyond the download.

Epikon holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LifeArk has 47 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 81% of LifeArk's written reviews are positive against 100% of Epikon's.

LifeArk ships an update every 9 days, Epikon monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
