# STEEZY vs Break Smart

STEEZY and Break Smart both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 94% of Break Smart's written reviews are positive against 38% of STEEZY's. Break Smart also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). STEEZY's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 22) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. STEEZY sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Break Smart sells 18 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for STEEZY against 4.6 for Break Smart. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: STEEZY has 13K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 38% of STEEZY's written reviews are positive against 94% of Break Smart's.

STEEZY ships an update every 3 weeks, Break Smart every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
