# キャラーム vs ボイボTTS

The clearest difference is rating: ボイボTTS at 5.0 against キャラーム's 4.4. ボイボTTS also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). キャラーム's advantage is review sentiment (45% vs 33%) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. キャラーム sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and ボイボTTS sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ボイボTTS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: キャラーム has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of キャラーム's written reviews are positive against 33% of ボイボTTS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

キャラーム ships an update every 2 months, ボイボTTS every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
