# キャラーム vs せみサウンド

The clearest difference is update cadence: せみサウンド at every 2 weeks against キャラーム's every 2 months. せみサウンド also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. キャラーム sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and せみサウンド sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

キャラーム ships an update every 2 months, せみサウンド every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
