# Summary Scanner vs Sum AI

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Sum AI at 76% against Summary Scanner's 9%. Sum AI also leads on rating (4.5 vs 2.1) and ratings volume (1.7K vs 7). Summary Scanner's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Summary Scanner sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Sum AI sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
