# CoachWATCH vs TrackTimer

The clearest difference is update cadence: TrackTimer at weekly against CoachWATCH's every 6 months. CoachWATCH's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (9.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CoachWATCH sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year and TrackTimer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CoachWATCH ships an update every 6 months, TrackTimer weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
