# Panostory Pro vs PrimePlayer

The clearest difference is rating: PrimePlayer at 5.0 against Panostory Pro's 4.0. PrimePlayer also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks) and monetization model (freemium vs paid). Panostory Pro's advantage is ratings volume (21 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Panostory Pro sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and PrimePlayer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PrimePlayer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Panostory Pro has 21 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Panostory Pro ships an update every 2 weeks, PrimePlayer every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
