# Tabu vs VodaBlock

The clearest difference is update cadence: VodaBlock at every 3 weeks against Tabu's every 4 months. VodaBlock also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.6). Tabu's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tabu sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and VodaBlock sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VodaBlock holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 2 respectively.

Tabu ships an update every 4 months, VodaBlock every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
