# Schichter vs PomoLite

The clearest difference is price: PomoLite at Free against Schichter's $5.99. PomoLite also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 weeks). On review sentiment, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

PomoLite is free to download; Schichter costs $5.99 up front. Schichter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PomoLite sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PomoLite holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Schichter's written reviews are positive against 90% of PomoLite's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Schichter ships an update every 6 weeks, PomoLite every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
