# HockeyTracker vs NapBot

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HockeyTracker at 71% against NapBot's 21%. HockeyTracker also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.2). NapBot's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (6.3K vs 1K). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HockeyTracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and NapBot sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HockeyTracker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NapBot has 6.3K ratings behind it against 1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 71% of HockeyTracker's written reviews are positive against 21% of NapBot's.

HockeyTracker ships an update every 2 weeks, NapBot every 11 days. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
