# Vexed+ vs Chess Peace

The clearest difference is price: Chess Peace at Free against Vexed+'s $0.99. Chess Peace also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (140 vs 5). Vexed+'s advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Chess Peace is free to download; Vexed+ costs $0.99 up front. Chess Peace sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Vexed+ asks for nothing beyond the download.

Chess Peace holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chess Peace has 140 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Vexed+'s written reviews are positive against 89% of Chess Peace's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vexed+ ships an update every 3 days, Chess Peace fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
