# Bioscope+ vs IQ Test

The clearest difference is rating: IQ Test at 2.3 against Bioscope+'s 1.5. IQ Test also leads on review sentiment (25% vs 12%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Bioscope+'s advantage is ratings volume (252 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bioscope+ sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and IQ Test sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IQ Test holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bioscope+ has 252 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 12% of Bioscope+'s written reviews are positive against 25% of IQ Test's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
