# Physics Lab AR vs Zoptiks

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Physics Lab AR at 1.9K against Zoptiks's 1. Physics Lab AR also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). Zoptiks's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Physics Lab AR sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Zoptiks sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Zoptiks holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Physics Lab AR has 1.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Physics Lab AR ships an update every 2 months, Zoptiks every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
