# IDRL vs RaceSync

IDRL and RaceSync both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of RaceSync's written reviews are positive against 71% of IDRL's. RaceSync also leads on ratings volume (53 vs 2) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.4). IDRL's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for IDRL against 4.9 for RaceSync. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RaceSync has 53 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 71% of IDRL's written reviews are positive against 100% of RaceSync's.

IDRL ships an update monthly, RaceSync every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
