# AURA App vs MAXPRO Fit The clearest difference is rating: AURA App at 4.0 against MAXPRO Fit's 3.2. AURA App also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (1K vs 113). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them. Both are free to download. AURA App sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and MAXPRO Fit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters. AURA App holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AURA App has 1K ratings behind it against 113, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of AURA App's written reviews are positive against 35% of MAXPRO Fit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about. AURA App ships an update fortnightly, MAXPRO Fit every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively. ## The numbers | Metric | AURA App | MAXPRO Fit | | --- | --- | --- | | Price | Free | Free | | Rating | **[4.0 (1K ratings)](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/aura-app/id1299538805/reviews)** | [3.2 (113 ratings)](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/maxpro-fit/id1486418287/reviews) | | Number of ratings | **1K** | 113 | | Positive reviews | 30.5% of reviews | **35.0% of reviews** | | In-app purchases | Yes | Yes | | Ads | No | No | | Update frequency | Fortnightly | **Every 8 days** | | Monetization | **Free with in-app purchases** | Subscription | | Size | 383 MB | 116 MB | | Requires iOS | **14.1** | 15.1 | | Devices | iPhone, iPod, Apple Watch | **iPhone, iPad, iPod, Apple Watch** | | Age rating | 12+ | 17+ | | Developer | [AURA Devices Inc.](https://appshunter.io/developer/1464578145) | [Maxpro Fitness LLC](https://appshunter.io/developer/1486418286) | ## What reviewers say ### AURA App [App page](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/aura-app/id1299538805) Monitor your body composition and hydration levels with advanced bioimpedance analysis.
