# AURA App vs niostem

The clearest difference is rating: niostem at 4.5 against AURA App's 4.0. niostem also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 18). AURA App's advantage is ratings volume (1K vs 11). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AURA App sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. niostem asks for nothing beyond the download.

niostem holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AURA App has 1K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of AURA App's written reviews are positive against 26% of niostem's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AURA App ships an update fortnightly, niostem every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
