# TYCAD vs PPNote

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TYCAD at 67% against PPNote's 40%. TYCAD also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 7 months) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TYCAD sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.49 per month and PPNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
