Buy your tickets – as easy as 1-2-3. Østfold kollektivtrafikk's mobile app lets you buy your ticket before you get on board. The app is valid on buses in Østfold and Hvalerferga. ØstfoldBillett requests access permission to the following functions: * Location Used in connection with ticket purchases so that ØstfoldBillett can automatically suggest a ticket based on the zone in which you are located. You can still purchase a ticket even if the location function is turned off, but you must manually enter the stop or station from which the ticket will apply. * Contacts Used when sending tickets to phone numbers stored in your contacts. * Notifications Used to send notifications when tickets and payment cards expire. You can still purchase a ticket even if the notification function is turned off. * Background App Refresh Used at night when updating your control code and today's picture so that next day you always have the valid code and picture ready for a ticket inspection. You can still purchase a ticket even if the background update function is turned off. * Mobile Data Used when communicating with Østfold kollektivtrafikk's systems during ticket purchases. If the app's access to mobile data is blocked, you can only buy a ticket if you have access to a wireless network (Wi-Fi). You must also have network access in order to display the control code and today's picture during a ticket inspection. If you want to block access, you can do so from your phone on ØstfoldBillett's "Settings" page. https://www.ostfold-kollektiv.no https://www.ostfold-kollektiv.no/kontakt-oss/kontaktskjema

Byferga, the city ferries of Fredrikstad, cross the Glomma. It's free to ride. The app shows when the next ferry leaves and where the ferries are now. Next departure The app picks the ferry landing nearest you and counts down to the next departure. Every landing and every route. The ferries on the map The ferries are shown on the map, positioned by AIS. When one is on its way to your landing, you see roughly when it arrives, and whether it's behind schedule. That is our own estimate, not a message from Byferga. Phone numbers Tap a ferry to see where it's heading, and the phone number for that ferry. The coming days See the timetable for the next few days, and share a day with someone. The app is in Norwegian, English, German, Spanish, Italian and French. Offline, it shows the last timetable it fetched. Made by ON IT AS. Not made by Fredrikstad municipality, which runs Byferga. Timetables from Entur, positions from the Norwegian Coastal Administration/BarentsWatch, maps from Kartverket.
