# Heritage Auctions vs SFW Auctions

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SFW Auctions at 100% against Heritage Auctions's 60%. SFW Auctions also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Heritage Auctions's advantage is ratings volume (5K vs 2) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 7 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SFW Auctions holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Heritage Auctions has 5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 60% of Heritage Auctions's written reviews are positive against 100% of SFW Auctions's.

Heritage Auctions ships an update every 6 weeks, SFW Auctions every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
