# Heritage Auctions vs eSnipe

The clearest difference is rating: Heritage Auctions at 4.8 against eSnipe's 3.9. Heritage Auctions also leads on ratings volume (5K vs 7). eSnipe's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Heritage Auctions holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Heritage Auctions has 5K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Heritage Auctions's written reviews are positive against 80% of eSnipe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Heritage Auctions ships an update every 6 weeks, eSnipe every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
