# Cubatel vs Cencan

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Cubatel at 74K against Cencan's 3. Cencan's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Cubatel against 5.0 for Cencan. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cubatel has 74K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 98% of Cubatel's written reviews are positive against 100% of Cencan's.

Cubatel ships an update every 3 weeks, Cencan every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
