# Vise vs Subswipe

The clearest difference is rating: Vise at 1.8 against Subswipe's 1.0. Vise also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). Subswipe's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vise sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Subswipe asks for nothing beyond the download.

Vise holds the better App Store score, 1.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vise has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
