# Vince vs Empty Vase

The clearest difference is ads: Empty Vase at none against Vince's shown. Empty Vase also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 17.0). Vince's advantage is ratings volume (4.5K vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Vince against 5.0 for Empty Vase. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vince has 4.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Vince ships an update every 5 weeks, Empty Vase every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
