# Vince vs Fresh Smart

The clearest difference is ads: Fresh Smart at none against Vince's shown. Fresh Smart also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 72%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Vince's advantage is ratings volume (4.7K vs 4). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Vince against 5.0 for Fresh Smart. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vince has 4.7K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 72% of Vince's written reviews are positive against 100% of Fresh Smart's.

Vince ships an update every 5 weeks, Fresh Smart every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
