# NREMT vs Combat Medic

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: NREMT at none against Combat Medic's 1. NREMT also leads on ratings volume (8K vs 2). Combat Medic's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Combat Medic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. NREMT asks for nothing beyond the download.

Combat Medic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NREMT has 8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NREMT ships an update every 2 months, Combat Medic every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
