# The Human Bean vs Swig Drinks

The clearest difference is rating: The Human Bean at 4.9 against Swig Drinks's 4.2. The Human Bean also leads on ratings volume (26K vs 550). Swig Drinks's advantage is review sentiment (66% vs 40%) and chart position (#154 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Human Bean holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Human Bean has 26K ratings behind it against 550, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of The Human Bean's written reviews are positive against 66% of Swig Drinks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
