# SynScan Pro vs Touch

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Touch at 75% against SynScan Pro's 22%. Touch also leads on rating (4.7 vs 2.7) and monetization model (free vs paid). SynScan Pro's advantage is ratings volume (56 vs 7) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Touch holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SynScan Pro has 56 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 22% of SynScan Pro's written reviews are positive against 75% of Touch's.

SynScan Pro ships an update every 2 months, Touch fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
