# Gathered vs Grid

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Grid at none against Gathered's 1. Grid also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). Gathered's advantage is device support (4 vs 1). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gathered sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Grid asks for nothing beyond the download.

Gathered ships an update monthly, Grid fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
