# Match AuPair vs Afrosmeet

Match AuPair and Afrosmeet both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 60% of Match AuPair's written reviews are positive against 36% of Afrosmeet's. Afrosmeet's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (129 vs 18). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Match AuPair sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Afrosmeet sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Match AuPair against 4.3 for Afrosmeet. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Afrosmeet has 129 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 60% of Match AuPair's written reviews are positive against 36% of Afrosmeet's.

Match AuPair ships an update every 2 months, Afrosmeet fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
