# DashGo vs GekoGear

The clearest difference is rating: GekoGear at 5.0 against DashGo's 1.8. DashGo's advantage is update cadence (every 5 months vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (16 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GekoGear holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DashGo has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DashGo ships an update every 5 months, GekoGear every 11 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
