# DashGo vs Redtiger Cam

The clearest difference is rating: Redtiger Cam at 2.8 against DashGo's 1.8. Redtiger Cam also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (142 vs 15). DashGo's advantage is review sentiment (27% vs 18%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Redtiger Cam holds the better App Store score, 2.8 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Redtiger Cam has 142 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of DashGo's written reviews are positive against 18% of Redtiger Cam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DashGo ships an update every 5 months, Redtiger Cam fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
