# 薄荷阅读 vs AboutCG学院

The clearest difference is ratings volume: 薄荷阅读 at 296 against AboutCG学院's 5. 薄荷阅读 also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 薄荷阅读 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and AboutCG学院 sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

薄荷阅读 holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 薄荷阅读 has 296 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of 薄荷阅读's written reviews are positive against 38% of AboutCG学院's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

薄荷阅读 ships an update monthly, AboutCG学院 every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
