# Top Resume vs CipherApp

The clearest difference is rating: CipherApp at 5.0 against Top Resume's 3.1. CipherApp also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). Top Resume's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 2) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Top Resume sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. CipherApp asks for nothing beyond the download.

CipherApp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Top Resume has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Top Resume ships an update every 7 months, CipherApp fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
