# Cooper‘s Hawk vs Herbachi

The clearest difference is monetization model: Herbachi at free against Cooper‘s Hawk's freemium. Herbachi also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Cooper‘s Hawk's advantage is ratings volume (65K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Cooper‘s Hawk against 5.0 for Herbachi. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cooper‘s Hawk has 65K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cooper‘s Hawk ships an update every 6 weeks, Herbachi every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
