# TruGreen vs WasteConnect+

The clearest difference is rating: TruGreen at 4.6 against WasteConnect+'s 2.4. TruGreen also leads on ratings volume (22K vs 36) and device support (3 vs 1). WasteConnect+'s advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks) and chart position (#162 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TruGreen holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TruGreen has 22K ratings behind it against 36, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of TruGreen's written reviews are positive against 21% of WasteConnect+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TruGreen ships an update every 5 weeks, WasteConnect+ every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
