# ETSU Package Locker vs Sennheiser Smart Control

The clearest difference is rating: Sennheiser Smart Control at 3.4 against ETSU Package Locker's 2.5. Sennheiser Smart Control also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 39 months) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 10). ETSU Package Locker's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 23%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sennheiser Smart Control holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sennheiser Smart Control has 1.5K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of ETSU Package Locker's written reviews are positive against 23% of Sennheiser Smart Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ETSU Package Locker ships an update every 39 months, Sennheiser Smart Control monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
