# Klankwelle vs skippodisk

The clearest difference is update cadence: skippodisk at every 2 weeks against Klankwelle's every 2 months. Klankwelle's advantage is review sentiment (91% vs 80%) and ratings volume (37 vs 11). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

skippodisk holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 37 and 11 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of Klankwelle's written reviews are positive against 80% of skippodisk's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Klankwelle ships an update every 2 months, skippodisk every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
