# HelloVPN vs Cool Call

HelloVPN and Cool Call both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 70% of HelloVPN's written reviews are positive against 0% of Cool Call's. HelloVPN also leads on ratings volume (4.2K vs 26). Cool Call's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.6). Both are free to download. HelloVPN sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Cool Call sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
