# WeatherLink vs RaceBase Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: RaceBase Mobile at 5.0 against WeatherLink's 2.7. RaceBase Mobile also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). WeatherLink's advantage is ratings volume (221 vs 3) and chart position (#120 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RaceBase Mobile holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WeatherLink has 221 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WeatherLink ships an update every 2 months, RaceBase Mobile every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
