# Ziptility vs Spartan Forge

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Ziptility at none against Spartan Forge's 7. Ziptility also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). Spartan Forge's advantage is ratings volume (641 vs 17) and chart position (#15 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spartan Forge sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Ziptility asks for nothing beyond the download.

Spartan Forge holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spartan Forge has 641 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Ziptility's written reviews are positive against 82% of Spartan Forge's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ziptility ships an update fortnightly, Spartan Forge every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
