# Objective Zero vs Carry Forward

The clearest difference is rating: Carry Forward at 4.8 against Objective Zero's 4.5. Carry Forward also leads on ratings volume (218 vs 33). Objective Zero's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Carry Forward holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Carry Forward has 218 ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Objective Zero's written reviews are positive against 40% of Carry Forward's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Objective Zero ships an update every 6 weeks, Carry Forward every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 8, 2026.
