# MP3 Converter vs Afreekaplay

The clearest difference is rating: MP3 Converter at 4.7 against Afreekaplay's 3.3. MP3 Converter also leads on ratings volume (48K vs 4) and chart position (#153 vs unranked). Afreekaplay's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 83%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MP3 Converter sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month and Afreekaplay sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MP3 Converter holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MP3 Converter has 48K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of MP3 Converter's written reviews are positive against 100% of Afreekaplay's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MP3 Converter ships an update every 5 weeks, Afreekaplay every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
