# Upcoming vs SIMSONPRO

The clearest difference is update cadence: Upcoming at every 2 weeks against SIMSONPRO's every 6 weeks. SIMSONPRO's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Upcoming ships an update every 2 weeks, SIMSONPRO every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
