# Geeklink Smart vs SkyThings

The clearest difference is rating: Geeklink Smart at 2.7 against SkyThings's 1.0. Geeklink Smart also leads on ratings volume (19 vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Geeklink Smart holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Geeklink Smart has 19 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of Geeklink Smart's written reviews are positive against 25% of SkyThings's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Geeklink Smart ships an update monthly, SkyThings every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
