# Jami vs A Event 4U

The clearest difference is update cadence: A Event 4U at every 10 days against Jami's every 3 weeks. Jami's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Jami ships an update every 3 weeks, A Event 4U every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 9, 2026 respectively.
