# Summit Reader vs 清墨

The clearest difference is ads: 清墨 at none against Summit Reader's shown. 清墨 also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 86%). Summit Reader's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 9). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Summit Reader sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and 清墨 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

清墨 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Summit Reader has 1.3K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 86% of Summit Reader's written reviews are positive against 100% of 清墨's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
