# Linkstacks vs Matter

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Linkstacks at 100% against Matter's 54%. Linkstacks also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 21) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Matter's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 3) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Matter sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Linkstacks asks for nothing beyond the download.

Linkstacks holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Matter has 1.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Linkstacks's written reviews are positive against 54% of Matter's.

Linkstacks ships an update every 5 weeks, Matter weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
