# Morse Code Keys vs Morse Code

The clearest difference is rating: Morse Code Keys at 4.4 against Morse Code's 1.0. Morse Code Keys also leads on ratings volume (176 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). Morse Code's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 11 months) and review sentiment (70% vs 56%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Morse Code Keys sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Morse Code sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Morse Code Keys holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Morse Code Keys has 176 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Morse Code Keys's written reviews are positive against 70% of Morse Code's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Morse Code Keys ships an update every 11 months, Morse Code every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
