# AAC Expression Toolkit vs QVoice

The clearest difference is rating: AAC Expression Toolkit at 5.0 against QVoice's 4.7. AAC Expression Toolkit also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). QVoice's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AAC Expression Toolkit sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per 7 days and QVoice sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AAC Expression Toolkit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QVoice has 13 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AAC Expression Toolkit ships an update every 9 days, QVoice every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
