# Emenator vs Scene

The clearest difference is monetization model: Emenator at free against Scene's free with in-app purchases. Emenator also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). Scene's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Emenator sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Scene sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scene holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13 and 12 respectively.

Emenator ships an update every 8 days, Scene every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
